Request for Inspection Procedure (IP) 95002, "Supplemental Inspection for One Degraded Cornerstone or Any Three White Inputs in a Strategic Performance Area."

Reference 2 transmitted a Ye,low Finding to Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) concerning the failure to have adequate procedures to protect against a design basis flooding event. Reference 3 announced that an IP 95002 supplemental inspection would be conducted at Fort Calhoun Station (FCS) to assess the OPPD actions to correct the Finding.

In response to References 2 and 3 FCS performed a root cause analysis and developed a corrective action plan to address the Yellow Finding. FCS has completed interim corrective actions to protect the station from a design basis flooding event. Additionally, OPPD will be providing a revision to the yellow finding response (Reference 4) prior to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), IP 95002 supplemental inspection.
