Friday, March 20, 2009 3:48:36 PM Thanks, the concern at Oyster is they are about to go past the 40 year license without a renewal. Timely filed period of operation. Local want a shutdown. So filing exemptions is probably news that they cannot use.

In they are in ADAMS and will be publicly released in a few days, ML090630132 and ML090640225.

RE: VY exemption for reduced separation approved - see attached daily note FW: Daily Notes for 03/20/2009 With major activities like NFPA 805 and enforcement discretion issues, a single fire exemption doesn't seem to meet Commission communication/communication plan threshold. But as I'm learning there are four things that the commission is interested in.
Anything Indian Point Harris Fire Stuff Browns Ferry Fire Stuff And now I know - VY fire stuff.
It seems to be more a plant sensitivity than related to the fact that we issued an exemption.

Do you always highlight the Comm on exemptions? Did Peach Bottom and TMI get this type annoucement. Oddly this was the only one that tumbled down.
So, the Wiggins email to Sam was quickly relayed downward. So I did hear about it.
