MURR 45-Day and 120-Day Relicensing RAIs Mr. Al Adams, This email is a follow up to our conversation that occurred on Tuesday, January 11th, at the US High Performance Research Reactor Working Group Meeting in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Due to the recent efforts to correct a discrepancy that was discovered in our safety limit analysis, which will require the submittal of a 30-day report (as required by our Technical Specifications) and a license amendment, and the recent issuance of RAIs for the Center Test Hole License Amendment, we are requesting an extension on answering the remaining relicensing RAIs. We request an extension date of February 28th for the 45-day RAIs and May 31st for the 120-day RAIs. In addition to the extensive RELAP code work that is required to answer some of the RAIs, we are also going through the responses that we have already submitted that may be affected by the calculation error in the safety limit analysis. Those responses may need to be revised based on this error. We will of course submit responses earlier if they are completed.
