ME3460 Request for Additional Information to support Safety Evaluation for Kewaunee ITS Conversion and TSTF-493 Submittal On Tuesday, August 23, 2010, NRC Staff Karl Feintuch (Branch LPL3-1), Victor Cusumano (Branch ITSB) and David Rahn (Branch EICB) visited the Dominion Resource Services (Dominion") facility at Innsbrook in Richmond, Virginia to meet with Dominion and Kewaunee Power Station (KPS) personnel who support Dominions Setpoint Control Program and its application to the instrumentation at Kewaunee Power Station.
Reviewer Rahn sought an understanding of the repeatable process by which Dominion and KPS staff addressed setpoint changes to facilitate (by Reviewer Rahn) the Safety Evaluation review for the implementation of Technical Specifications Task Force (TSTF) Traveler TSTF-493 on Kewaunee instrumentation and for the conversion of Kewaunees current Custom Technical Specifications (CTS) to the corresponding Improved Technical Specifications (ITS).
The corresponding technical assignment control (TAC) number for the Setpoint Control Program review is ME3460, a subset of ME2139, the TAC number for the ITS Conversion effort.
Attending for Dominion, for Kewaunee, and for Excel Services Corporation, a Dominion contractor who supports its TSTF and ITS Conversion efforts, were:
