TSTF- 501 Amendment Request - TACs ME4026 and ME4027 Tamera:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory commission (NRC) staff has the following clarification question for the subject amendment request.

RAI Question:

Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP), Units 1 and 2, Technical Specification (TS) 3.8.3, Diesel Fuel Oil, Lube Oil, and Stating Air, Condition B and the TS Bases B 3.8.3, Diesel Fuel Oil, Lube Oil, and Starting Air, Action B.1, provides stored lube oil numerical values in inches below the low static level of the lube oil dipstick. TSTF-501 provides, in part, for the relocation of stored lube oil volumetric values, in gallons, to licensee control.

Please provide the CPNPP, Units 1 and , stored lube oil volumetric values, in gallons, corresponding to 1.75 and 5.5 inches below the low static level on the lube oil dipstick consistent with the volumetric values identified in TSTF-501.

I do not intend to issue the formal Request for Additional Information (RAI) letter and this e-mail will be treated as formal RAI. Please provide your response by September 10, 2010.
