- Event 5 instrument failure provided no evaluation material for examiners.

- Event 9 component failure provided no evaluation material for examiners.

- Several items normally obtained from simulator back-panels is not simulated. Identified that the simulator driver would provide back-panel information to candidates.
- Made minor editorial changes requested by lead examiner.

Scenario 2-92%
- Event 7 component failure provided no evaluation material for examiners.
Deleted component failure from Event 7.
- Corrected Event numbers on D2.
- As noted above in scenario 1, identified that the simulator driver would provide back-panel information to candidates.
- Identified contingency reactivity manipulation if RFPT is tripped prior to lowering power with flow.
- Made minor editorial changes requested by lead examiner.
- Corrected typos.
Scenario 3-3%
- Changed cue to have Chief Examiner determine sufficient reactivity change.
- Noted during validation that performance of IOI-18 took the BOP applicant away from the scenario for an extended period of time without providing useful evaluation information. Added Note to cue SRO to have Field Supervisor perform IOI-18 actions following loss of RPS bus.
- Made minor editorial changes requested by lead examiner.
Scenario 3-3% was replaced by Scenario 4 because of possible compromise.
Scenario 4 was validated without comments.
