SUMMARY

OF EXPERIENCE Thirty-three years of nuclear Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and Quality Control experience in both construction and operation phases of nuclear power production. Experience includes inspection, inspection planning, auditing, development and review of operation procedures, and monitoring of corrective action systems. Fifteen years of this experience has been as supervisor of the Quality Assurance audit group (6 1/2 years) and supervisor of the Quality Control inspection/examination group (81/2 year). Specific responsibilities for these positions include: support of seventeen employees, development and maintenance of the group budget, interface with line management and external regulatory agencies. My most recent position was as Quality Administrator. In this position, I was responsible for coordination of the Quality Corrective Action evaluation and plan development, maintenance of the Quality Program (17.2 of the USAR),

development and maintenance of Quality procedures, and various aspects of the Quality Training Program. I am currently the Ombudsman at Wolf Creek. In this position I am responsible for the Employee Concerns Program. I also participate on the STARS/USA Nuclear Safety Culture Assessment Team. I have participated in ten NSCAs and served as Team Lead for ten of the assessment. Served as Site Host for two of the Wolf Creek NSCAs. My experience in the nuclear industry has provided me with an overall perspective of what is necessary to assure the safe and reliable operation of a nuclear power plant. Additionally, this experience has enriched my interpersonal skills in the areas of management and facilitation.

In this position, I report directly to the President & CEO. I am responsible for maintenance and implementation of the Employee Concerns Program. This includes direct interface with the Owner Budget & Audit Committee and the handling of NRC Allegation Referrals. I participate as the alternated Team Leader on the STARS/USA Nuclear Safety Culture Assessment (Phase II) Project Team. I also participate as the Team Leader on the STARS/USA Employee Concerns Networking Team.

June 2005 to Present Quality Administrator Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Company (WCNOC)

Coordination of the Quality Corrective Action Program issues, evaluations, and corrective action plans; Coordination of Operating Experience related to activities within the Quality Organization; Maintenance of the Quality Program currently contained in the Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR); maintenance and development of Quality Program procedures for Audits, Procurement, Receipt, and Inspection/NDE; Development of the Quarterly Oversight Report; Administrator for the Operations Excellence Advisory Committee (the off-site review group), coordination and development of the Oversight Quarterly Station Performance Report.

September 1996 to June 2005 Operations QC Supervisor Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Company (WCNOC)

Administration of the Quality Control examination/inspection program. This includes personnel qualification and certification (Levels I, II, and III), maintenance of a radiography license, implementation of the inspection/examination programs, implementation of the QC surveillance program, support of customer organizations. September 1990 to September 1996 Operations QA Supervisor Audits Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Company (WCNOC)

Administration of the internal Quality Assurance Audit Program to include development and implementation of audit schedules to assure that WCNOC operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for the work of ten employees.

August 1984 to September 1990 Operations QA Auditor/System Engineer Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Company (WCNOC)

Performance of audits of nuclear operations to assure that programs and implementation meet the requirements of company procedures, industrial standards, and federal regulation. Also performed reviews of contractors programs and helped in the development of a trend analysis program for all site generated non-conformance documents.

December 1982 to August 1984 Senior Quality Engineering Supervisor/Quality Engineer III Daniel International Corporation Wolf Creek Generating Station / Kansas Gas & Electric Co.

Provide Quality Department interface with site organization, supervise and coordinate the review of construction activities, and provide administrative direction for twenty-one Quality Engineers. Development and review of construction procedures, non-conformances, and technical projects.

Bay City, Texas Specific Responsibilities:

Development of transition plan for turnover of construction documentation from Brown and Root (previous contractor) to Bechtel Power Corporation relative to construction activities at South Texas Project.

Bay City, Texas Specific Responsibilities:

Surveillance, inspection, and documentation of all safety related pipe and structural steel welding. Supervision of four Quality Engineers and four Quality Engineering Technicians.

Surveillance and inspection of safety related pipe and structural steel welding. Inspection of concrete batching, testing and placement, testing of all concrete aggregates, and inspection of cadwelds.
