COMANCHE PEAK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2, WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE CYBER SECURITY PLAN (TAC NOS. ME2672 AND ME2673)
Dear Mr. Flores:
By letter dated November 19, 2009 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML093340393), as supplemented by letter dated December 21,2009 (ADAMS Accession No. ML093650162), Luminant Generation Company LLC (Luminant) applied for an amendment to the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP), Units 1 and 2 Operating License Nos. NPF-87 and NPF-89.
The license amendment request included the Cyber Security Plan (CSP), proposed changes to the Facility Operating Licenses, and a proposed CSP implementation schedule for CPNPP, Units 1 and 2. The proposed CSP was submitted in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 73.54, "Protection of digital computer and communication systems and networks." Subsequently, by letter dated July 15, 2010 (ADAMS Accession No. ML102030124), Luminant withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the application dated November 19, 2009, as supplemented by letter dated December 21, 2009, is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
