Dear Sir or Madam:
Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) submitted a license amendment request (LAR)
(Reference 1) to revise the Technical Specifications as they apply to Administrative Controls Section 5.3 Plant Staff Qualifications, and Section 5.6.5 Core Operating Limits Report (COLR). ENO supplemented the LAR in May 2009 (Reference 2).
Based on input from telephone discussions with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, ENO is withdrawjng the LAR that was submitted in Reference 1 and supplemented in Reference. 2.
A copy of this withdrawal letter has been provided to the designated representative of the State of Michigan.
Summary of Commitments This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
