Dear Mr. Burton:

During the period of April 22 - 23, 2010, the NRC will conduct Temporary Instruction 2515/173, Review of the Implementation of the Industry Ground Water Protection Voluntary Initiative, at Sharon Harris.

Experience has shown that this inspection can be accomplished quickly with minimal impact on your staff if the necessary documents are assembled prior to the review. We have enclosed a request for documents needed for this inspection. It is important that all of these documents are up to date and complete in order to minimize the number of additional documents requested during the onsite review. The inspector has requested that the subject material be made available for inspection on site by April 22, 2010.

We have discussed the schedule for this review with your staff and understand that our regulatory contact will be Mr. Dave Corlett of your organization. If there are any questions about this review or the material requested, please contact the inspector, Ruben Hamilton at (404) 997-4672.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
