Brunswick Pre-Submittal Meeting
- Farideh, We would like to request a pre-submittal meeting with the Staff to discuss our planned license amendment request (LAR) to adopt the AREVA ACE topical report (for the ATRIUM-10XM fuel that will be loaded for B2C20 in Spring 2011) and the separate LAR submittal to adopt of the RODEX4 topical report. Our intent would be to review the draft LAR submittals with the Staff to ensure they provide information on the technical areas the Staff wants to review. Progress Energy participants will probably be only four individuals -- John Siphers, Manager-Nuclear Fuels, two fuels engineers (Roger Thomas and Eric Geyer), and myself. We would like to meet with the technical reviewers who are likely to be assigned the two LARs, and are proposing a two-hour meeting on Thursday, April 8th. When you return to the office on Monday, please call me so we can discuss this meeting request. Thanks.
