OPERATOR LICENSING EXAMINATION APPROVAL 05000382/2010301
Dear Mr. Kowalewski:
The purpose of this letter is to confirm the final arrangements for the upcoming operator
licensing retake examination at Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, that will consist of the
walk-through portion of the operating test.
The NRC completed its review of the operator license application submitted in connection with
this examination and separately provided a list of the approved applicant to Horace T. Lewis,
Operations Training Supervisor. Note that any examination waivers have been addressed in
separate correspondence.
The NRC staff will administer the operating test during the week of March 15, 2010. This
operating test has undergone extensive review by my staff and representatives responsible for
licensed operator training at your facility. Based on this review, I have concluded that the
examination meets the guidelines of NUREG-1021 for content, operational, and discrimination
validity.
Please contact your Chief Examiner, Brian Larson, at (817) 860-8172, if you have any questions
or identify any errors or changes in the license level (RO or SRO) or type of examination (partial
or complete operating test) specified for the applicant.
