- Farideh, The question as we understand it, from the NRC reviewer, is: Can we confirm that the upper bound for flow acceptance, in a test where differential pressure is set and flow is determined, will be 1.06 x Reference Value?
The scenario on which the question is based is not applicable. This was not discussed in the CR3 relief request because it does not apply to CR3s testing methodology. For the pumps mentioned in the relief request, flow is set at a reference condition then differential pressure is measured and compared against the acceptance criteria. By the nature of this test method, there is no need to apply an upper end acceptance criterion to the flow.
