By letter dated August 25, 2009 (Reference 1), the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) committed to submit a license amendment request in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90 to modify license condition 2.F of Facility Operating License No. NPF-90. In addition, TVA committed to address the information requested by the NRC in its July 15, 2009, request for additional information (Reference 2) as part of the aforementioned license amendment request. As agreed during a telephone discussion between J. G. Lamb of the NRC and K. E. Casey of TVA, on September 28, 2009, TVA will submit the requested additional information as part of the license amendment request by October 30, 2009.
