ME1515, ME1516, and ME1517)," dated July 24, 2009 By letter dated June 19, 2009 (Ref. 1), the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) submitted a one-time Technical Specifications (TS) change request to temporarily extend the TS Completion Time (CT) for an Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) from seven days to fourteen days to allow maintenance and modification activities to be performed during plant operation that will contribute to improved EDG reliability and availability. By letter dated July 10, 2009 (Ref. 2), the NRC requested supplemental information be submitted Printed on recycled paper RR

U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 July 28, 2009 by TVA by July 24, 2009. TVA's letter dated July 24, 2009 (Ref. 3) documented the extension of time for TVA to submit responses to the NRC's request for supplemental information from July 24, 2009 to July 28, 2009.

In preparing the response to the NRC's request for supplemental information, TVA identified the need for additional technical information. This technical information could not be assembled prior to the July 28, 2009 due date. Accordingly, TVA is withdrawing TS Change Request T-466-T at this time. TVA will notify the NRC if it intends to pursue this change request at a later time.
