- Dan, The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff completed the acceptance review, per LIC-109, of Crystal River, Unit 3 - Third Ten-Year Inservice Inspection (ISI) Interval Relief Requests
- 09-001-II, #09-002-II and #09-003-II. The NRC staff finds these relief requests to be acceptable for review in that the requests reasonably appear to contain sufficient technical information, both in scope and depth, for the staff to complete the detailed technical review and render, in an appropriate time frame, an assessment of the proposed action with regard to applicable regulatory requirements and the protection of public health, safety, and security.
The detailed technical review may result in some questions that will need to be addressed informally or formally prior to the completion of the staff's final assessment of the relief requests.
