- Dan, Below are final RAIs for the subject application. As we agreed during this morning conference call, please provide your RAI responses by February 2, 2009.
- 1. In the No Significant Hazards Consideration section of your submittal, you indicate that the inspection intervals (for 100 percent inspections and the maximum time between inspections) for steam generators with Alloy 600 tubes are considered to be equivalent for detecting tube degradation as the inspection intervals for steam generators with Alloy 690 tubes. Please clarify this statement.
- 2. Please discuss your plans to correct what appears to be two editorial errors in your application: (a) in technical specification 5.6.2.10.a, the and should be or, and (b) in technical specification 5.6.2.10.e, Leak should be Leakage.
- 3. Please discuss your plans to modify technical specification 5.6.2.10.d to indicate d1, d2, and d3 to be consistent with TSTF-449.
