On September 26, 2008, Duke provided the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) with notification concerning conditions required for approval of the license transfer of the Catawba Nuclear Station, Unit 1, Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-35 and Conforming Amendment. In that letter, Duke provided confirmation of nuclear liability insurance for Catawba from American Nuclear Insurers (ANI).
Attached is additional documentation provided by ANI dated September 30, 2008, amending the various policies and certificates to show Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC as the first named insured. This documentation is provided for your records.
