  • Nine Mile Point Unit :2

- GE BWR 5 Operating License in 1986 - 3323 MWt

- In 1995, uprated to 104.3% OLTP - 3467 MWt

- Extended Power Uprate to 120% OLTP - 3988 MWt

  • CLTP and EPU rated core flow = 108.5 Mlbm/hr
  • CLTP and EPU operating dome pressure = 1035 psia
  • NMP2 has two constant speed recirculation pumps with flow control valves.

Steam Dryer Inspection Baseline

  • NMP2 has completed the BWRVIP-139 baseline inspections for curved hood dryers

- IGSCC cracking identified

  • Extent and location consistent with industry experience as noted in BWRVIP,-139 section 2
  • The IGSCC has been evaluated as not structurally significant per BWRVIP-139 guidance.

Fatigue Flaw Identified in 2004 related to undersized weld at inner hood to end plate

  • Location repaired in 2004 with reinforcement 8
