Dear Mr. Tynan:
By letter dated June 28, 2007, Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc., submitted an application pursuant to 10 CFR Part 54, to renew the operating licenses for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2, for review by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff).
During the weeks of October 15-19, 2007, and December 10-14, 2007, the staff audited and reviewed selected aging management programs (AMPs), aging management reviews (AMRs),
and time-limited aging analysis (TLAAs) at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant site. Enclosed is a summary of the audit results which is also accessible from the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), under Accession No. ML082680295.
