STN 50-528, 50-529, and 50-530 Advance Notification of Intent to Pursue Operating License Renewal By letter dated August 19, 2004 (ADAMS Accession No. ML042820145), the Strategic Teaming and Resource Sharing (STARS) Alliance Integrated Regulatory Affairs Group Chairman, D. R.

Woodlan, notified the NRC that a STARS power plant intended to submit a renewal application in.the fourth quarter of 2008.

This letter is to notify the NRC that Arizona Public Service Company is the STARS member that will be submitting an operating license renewal application for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station Units 1, 2, and 3, in accordance with 10 CFR Part 54 in the fourth quarter 2008. This would be the second STARS Alliance operating license renewal application. This voluntary submission is intended to assist the NRC in its budgeting and planning process, as requested by Regulatory Issue Summary 2003-02, "Importance of Giving NRC Advance Notice of Intent to Pursue License Renewal," dated February 3, 2003.
