Dear Sir or Madam:
On April 9, 2008, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) received verbal approval from Mr. Jared Wermiel, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, to extend the submittal date of the 3-month response to Generic Letter 2008-01, for Palisades Nuclear Plant, to May 13, 2008. EN0 documented the verbal approval a letter dated April 15, 2008.
The extension request was based on the evolving expectations related to the 9-month Generic Letter response and the need to reassess those expectations prior to submittal of the 3-month response.
Summarv of Commitments This letter contains no new commitments and no revision to existing commitments.
