SNC/NRC Discussion of Vogtle TRM Requirements for Ultrasonic Mode Calorimetric Associated with MURPU Siva:
This is to document that SNC (Bob Florian, Kerry Walton, and myself) discussed the Vogtle TRM requirements for the Ultrasonic Mode Calorimetric associated with the MURPU with NRC (Carl Schulten) on February 6, 2008. We reached resolution on all of Mr. Schulten's comments, and appropriate changes were incorporated into the subject proposed TRM requirements. For your information, the Vogtle Plant Review Board (PRB) reviewed the subject proposed TRM requirements yesterday, including the changes made to incorporate the resolution to Mr. Schulten's comments. The subject proposed TRM requirements were unanimously recommended by the Vogtle PRB for approval with no changes from what was discussed with the NRC. The requirements will be implemented in the Vogtle TRM with the implementation of the MURPU.
In addition, SNC appreciates the thoughtful review provided by Mr. Schulten.
His comments resulted in an improved product.
