CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NOS. MD3805 AND MD3806)
Dear Mr. Morris:
By letter dated December 7, 2006, you applied for an amendment to the Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, Renewed Facility Operating License NPF-35 and Renewed Facility Operating License NPF-52. The proposed change would have modified the facility Technical Specifications (TSs) to allow a period of time with both trains of the control room ventilation system and the control room area chilled water system to be inoperable before TS Limiting Condition for Operation 3.0.3 is required to be entered. Subsequently, by letter dated November 15, 2007, you withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
