Burke Co. - Georgia Power Co., Plant Vogtle '3 Landfill; located in the northwest part of the plant property.
This permit is conditioned upon the permittee complying with the attached conditions of operation, which are hereby made a part of this permit.
All statements and supporting data submitted to the Environmental Protection Division of the Department of Natural Resources have been evaluated, considered and relied upon in the issuance of this permit.
'I1Us permit Is now in effect; however, Wider Georgia Law it Is subject to appeal for thirty (30) days following issuance, and is SUbject to modification or revocation on evidence of noncompliance with any or the provisions of the Georgia Solid Waste Management Act, as amended, or any of the Rules promulgated pursuant thereto; or with any representation made in the above mentioned application or the statements and supporting data entered therein or attached thereto; or with any condition of this permit.

Cond1.t1oDs for LandfUl Operation:

No hazardous or putrescib1e vaate shall be deposited at the landfill.

Haterials placecl in the landfill shall be spread in layers and cOlllpactecl to" the least practical volume.

A uniform cOIIIpactecl layer of clean earth cover not 1e.s than one (1) foot in depth shall be placed over all exposed waste material at least aonthly or more frequently as lIlay be determinec1 by the Division.

The disposal site shall be aTaded and drained to 1Din~ize runoff onto the landfill surface. co prevent erosicm aDd to drain vater from che surface of the landfill.

The landfill shall be operated in Rcb manner a. to prevent air, land, or vater pollution. public health hazards or nuisances.

Acce** to the landfill shall be l1.m1ted to authorized entrance. which.ilil be closed vhen the site is not in operation.

Suitable means shall be prcnidec! to prevent and control fires.

The Design and Operational Plan 8ubmitted by the permittee and approved by the Division for this landfill i. hereby made a part of this permit and the landfill ahall be operated in accordance with the plan.

This penRlt shall become null and void one year "from the effective date if the permitted disposal operation haa not commenced within one year frca the effective date.
