This letter responds to NRC's request for additional information as contained in the referenced letter. provides Revision 2 to the Unit 2 Cycle 14 90-Day Steam Generator report for voltage-based alternate repair criteria.
Appendix B of this report provides TVA's responses to NRC's questions regarding the voltage-based alternate repair criteria from the referenced letter.
Appendix C of this report provides two errata pages to Appendix B.
In addition, and in response to the referenced letter, provides TVA responses to the NRC questions associated with the application of W* alternate repair criteria.
By TVA letter dated March 20,
- 2007, TVA indicated that Westinghouse Electric Company was continuing to perform metallurgical examinations of the steam generator tube that was pulled during SQN's Unit 2 Cycle 14 refueling outage.
Westinghouse has completed the metallurgical examinations of the pulled tube and TVA is including four proprietary copies Printed on recycled paper
U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 November 15, 2007 of the final report in Enclosure 3. provides the Westinghouse authorization letter CAW-07-2337, accompanying affidavit, Proprietary Information Notice, and Copyright Notice.
Two non-proprietary copies of the final report are provided in Enclosure 5.
Because Enclosure 3 contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Company, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owner of the information.
The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b) (4) of Section 2i390 of the Commission's regulations.
Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.390 of the Commission's regulations.
Correspondence with respect to the copyright or proprietary aspects of the information in Enclosure 3 or the supporting Westinghouse Affidavit should reference CAW-07-2337 and should be addressed to J.
