Description:
Received Blackout Diesel Generator alarm (C3L-A4) several times during 6/19/02 7p-7a shift. Outside operator responded and each time the local alarm Panel C190 Fuel Tank Leakage (D3) alarm was annunciated.
Immediate Action
Description:
The outside operator acknowledged the local alarm. An outstanding MR E0000070 was noted. No visual indications of fuel oil leakage were observed. The alarms were reset on each occurence. The repeated alarms represent a distraction and nuisance to the operating crew.
Suggested Action
Description:
It appears the initial condition documented in the MR has worsened. We should revisit the current M R status and accellerate the investigation and repair of the leakage detection system.
