TVA letter to NRC dated June 29, 2006, "Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN) Unit I- Inservice Pressure Test (ISPT) Program Update and Associated Request For Relief, ISPT-01, For Second Ten-Year Inservice Inspection Interval In the reference letter noted above, TVA provided a request for relief (ISPT-01) that proposed alternative requirements for bolted connections that have identified leakage. Following TVA review of the NRC approved American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Section XI Code Case N-566-2, "Corrective Action for Leakage Identified at Bolted Connections," TVA has decided to withdraw the subject relief request ISPT-01. The ISPT Program is being updated to reflect the application of ASME Code Case N-566-2 for the second ten-year interval. No further NRC action or review is needed for TVA's reference letter.
