MB9784 and MB9785)(b) Notice of Availability of Technical Specification Improvement to Modify Requirements Regarding Control Room Envelope Habitability Using Consolidated Line Item Improvement Process, 72 FR 2022, dated January 17, 2007 In your letter (Reference a), you requested that we describe our plans to adopt Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF)-448, "Control Room Habitability" at Calvert Cliffs. As you noted, TSTF-448 will be an industry accepted standard to address the potential for excessive inleakage that can increase radiation exposure to the operators.

We plan to adopt applicable portions of TSTF-448 now that it is approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Reference b). We plan to submit a license amendment request by July 1, 2007 based on internal priorities and the scheduled refueling outage in the spring of 2007.Should you have questions regarding this matter, please contact Mr. Jay S.
