REFERENCE:
(a) Letter from T. J. Shortell (NMPNS) to the Nuclear Reactor Commission (NRC),
NRC Regulatory Issue Summary @IS) 2005-19, Preparation and Scheduling of Operating Licensing Examinations, Dated September 26,2005 In Reference (a), the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station (NMPNS) requested that the NRC commence the administration of the Unit 1 Initial NRC License Examination on December 1 1, 2006.
During a November 7,2006 telephone conference between NMPNS staff members and Mr. Marvin D.
Sykes, Branch Chief, NRC Region I, it was agreed that the NRC would, at NMPNS's request, reschedule the NRC's administration of the Unit 1 Initial NRC License Examination from the week of December 1 1,
2006 to a date after February 14,2007. As a follow up to that telephone conference, NMPNS submits this letter to request a change from the original December 1 1, 2006 commencement date to a date after February 14,2007.
Please advise me on the availability of a new exam date.
