SUBJECT:
ACCEPTANCE REVIEW RESULTS FOR THE VOGTLE EARLY SITE PERMIT APPLICATION (SECTION 13.6) (TAC MD2535)
The New Reactor Security Team of the Reactor Security Branch (RSB) of the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response has completed its acceptance review of the Vogtle Early Site Permit application submitted by Southern Nuclear Operating Company. Our review covered the following section for which the Reactor Security Branch has review responsibilities:
Section 13.6 Industrial Security.
Based on our acceptance review, the Reactor Security Branch finds that the applicant provided sufficient information for the Reactor Security Branch staff to begin its detailed technical review of the Vogtle Early Site Permit application. I recommend that the application be docketed and accepted for review for the areas for which the Reactor Security Branch has review responsibilities.
