REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (RAI) FOR THE VOGTLE EARLY SITE PERMIT APPLICATION SECTION 2.4 (TAC No. MD2535)
The Geosciences & Civil Engineering Branch B (EGCB) has prepared a Request for Additional Information (RAI) for Section 2.4 of the Vogtle Early Site Permit Application. Based on our preliminary review of this section of the application, EGCB has identified a request for additional information (Enclosure) that is necessary for the staff to review the application in a detailed and timely manner. We suggest the RAI be sent to the licensee early to facilitate the staffs review of this section. Additional RAIs for the section will be forthcoming.

Enclosure REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THE VOGTLE EARLY SITE PERMIT APPLICATION SECTION 2.4 SECTION 2.4 - HYDROLOGIC ENGINEERING RAI 2.4-1 In order for the staff to perform a confirmatory analysis, provide the following background materials and modeling data which were created and used to prepare Section 2.4 of the Vogtle ESP application:
(a) Digital maps including topography, bathymetry, land use, soil, water use, etc.
(b) Hydrologic features (e.g., location, geometry, and cross section, if applicable) of rivers, canals, dams, reservoirs, etc.
(c) Hydrologic time series including stages, flows, groundwater heads.
hydrometeorologic data, etc.
(d) Modeling data (HEC1, HEC-RAS, and NWS DAMBRK, etc.) including input, output, and codes if they are not publicly available.
(e) Brief descriptions of the items (a) through (d).
