Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station License No. DPR-28 (Docket No. 50-271)
License Renewal Application, Amendment 1 On January 25, 2006, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. and Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC (Entergy) submitted the License Renewal Application for the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VYNPS) as indicated by Reference 1. On March 2, 2006, the NRC approved the VYNPS extended power uprate as indicated by Reference 2. The extended power uprate approval results in the following change to information provided in the VYNPS License Renewal Application.
- Page 1-6, Section 1.2, sentence 2 of the License Renewal Application states that VYNPS is;
"... licensed to generate 1593 megawatts - thermal (MWt)".
The licensed power level provided within Amendment 229 for extended power uprate is 1912 MWt.
No additional changes have been identified to the VYNPS License Renewal Application due to extended power uprate.
