CORRECTION OF LICENSE AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR WATERFORD STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 3 (WATERFORD 3)
Dear Mr. Venable:
The NRC staff has completed its review of the license authority files for Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3. The review consisted of comparing the NRC authority files with Entergy Operations, Inc. (licensee) records to ensure errors in licenses and technical specifications were identified and corrected.
The NRC began this effort in October 2003. The comparison of the NRC and licensee's copies was started in November 2004 and completed in January 2006. Upon initial review, inconsistencies were identified by the NRC staff. However, due to the time between the beginning and conclusion of this effort, changes that were originally noted have now been reconciled.
