Dear Mr. Edington:
By letter dated October 27, 2005, the Commission issued Amendment No. 212 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-46 for the Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS). The amendment revised the required channels per trip system for several instrument functions contained in Technical Specification (TS) Tables 3.3.6.1-1, Primary Containment Isolation Instrumentation, 3.3.6.2-1, Secondary Containment Isolation Instrumentation, and 3.3.7.1-1, Control Room Emergency Filter System Instrumentation. The amendment was in response to your application dated October 25, 2004, as supplemented by letter dated August 1, 2005.
Enclosed are the corrected amendment page and CNS TS pages. The replacement amendment page is page 2, which changes the number of days to implement amendment 212.
The TS pages replaced are the 3.3-57 and 3.3-63. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you.

- 2. Accordingly, the license is amended by changes to the Technical Specifications as indicated in the attachment to this license amendment and Paragraph 2.C.(2) of Facility Operating License No. DPR-46 is hereby amended to read as follows:
(2) Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A, as revised through Amendment No. 212, are hereby incorporated in the license. The Nebraska Public Power District shall operate the facility in accordance with the Technical Specifications.
- 3. The license amendment is effective as of its date of issuance and shall be implemented within 70 days from the date of issuance.
