CORRECTION LETTER - ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE, UNIT NO. 2 ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT RE: ELIMINATION OF REQUIREMENTS TO PROVIDE MONTHLY OPERATING REPORTS AND ANNUAL OCCUPATIONAL RADIATION EXPOSURE REPORTS (TAC NO. MC5455)

Dear Mr. Forbes:

On May 13, 2005, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 259 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-6 for the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No. 2. The amendment revised the Technical Specifications (TSs) to delete requirements associated with TS 6.6.1, Occupational Radiation Exposure Report, and TS 6.6.4, Monthly Operating Reports. The amendment was in response to your application dated December 20, 2004, as supplemented by letter dated April 12, 2005.

After issuance, it was discovered that TS page 6-20, changed by Amendment No. 259, was also changed by Amendment No. 257. Amendment No. 257 was issued prior to the issuance of Amendment No. 259 and, therefore, Amendment No. 259 contained TS page 6-20 which did not reflect the changes made by the previous amendment. Enclosed is the corrected TS page 6-20 for Amendment No. 259 which is being reissued. Please replace the incorrect version with the enclosure.
