Dear Sir or Madam:

By letter (Reference 2), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) proposed a change to the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 (ANO-2) Technical Specifications (TSs) to eliminate the Monthly Operating Report and Occupational Radiation Exposure Report from the TSs. At the time of submittal, it was anticipated that Entergy letter (Reference 1) dated July 8, 2004, which proposed deleting the TS Index from the TSs and placing the Index under licensee control, would be approved prior to the letter of Reference 2 above. Because this is unlikely to occur, Entergy is supplementing its original letter supporting elimination of the aforementioned reports from the TSs to include a markup of the TS Index page (Attachment 1)that is affected by the deletion of these reports. The change to the TS Index is administrative in nature, contain no technical changes and, therefore, the original no significant hazards consideration included in Reference 2 is not affected by any information contained in this supplemental letter. Furthermore, the commitments contained in Reference 2 remain unaltered.

Revised (clean) pages are also submitted in Attachment 2 for NRC use in approval of the proposed TS amendment.
