RE: FWS letter on Brunswick
- Rich, I haven't heard anything new yet from Mike and Amanda about the FWS' response, but Van thinks we will need to submit an RAI related to the section of the transmission line built to connect BSEP to the transmission system at the Fayetteville Substation that lies between the Whiteville Substation and the Fayetteville Substation. Specifically, we need an assessment of the potential shock hazard for this line and more detailed information on the widths of the transmission line rights-of-way to permit us to make an independent estimate of the area covered by the rights-of-way.

EWS letter on Brunswick I have given you a copy of the FWS response to our original request for a list of T & E species for Brunswick. We are preparing another letter asking for a revised list because the Fayetteville transmission line has been determined to be in scope for license renewal. Mike S. and Amanda are contacting FWS to better understand what FWS is saying in this response. It appears that FWS is confused on at least 2 points.
Requirements for surveys and transmission lines beyond scope of license renewal. Any thoughts? Have not heard back from PNNL yet.
