Annual Property Insurance Status Report As required by 10 CFR 50.54, "Conditions of licenses," paragraph (w)(3), Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) and AmerGen Energy Company, LLC (AmerGen) are required each year to report to the NRC the current levels and sources of insurance that demonstrate EGC and AmerGen possess sufficient financial resources to stabilize and decontaminate a reactor in the event of an accident. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(~)(3),
this report is required to be submitted on April 1 of each year.
To satisfy the reporting requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(~)(3),
EGC and AmerGen are submitting the following status of nuclear property insurance currently maintained for our plants.

Annual Property Insurance Status Report March 25, 2005 Page 2 The insurance maintained for each facility is provided through insurance policies purchased from Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited.
The above insurance policies provide coverage that satisfies the criteria specified in 10 CFR 50.54(w). The coverage for Zion Nuclear Power Station reflects an exemption from the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(w) regarding the amount of onsite property insurance. The exemption was granted by the NRC in light of the permanently shutdown status of Zion Nuclear Power Station.
