RESPONSE
TO NRC REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REGARDING RELAXATION OF SECTION III.A OF ORDER EA-03-086 (TAC NOS. MC2892, MC2893, AND MC2894)
This letter responds to NRC's October 29, 2004, letter, regarding TVA's compliance with Order EA-03-86 addressing the revised design basis threat.
Specifically, NRC required that TVA specify the date by which full compliance with the Order would be established and to provide a detailed explanation for any activities that were not completed by October 29, 2004, in order to mitigate potential enforcement action.
TVA's detailed response is provided in the Enclosure to this letter.
This response contains Safeguards Information as defined in 10 CFR 73.21.
TVA, therefore, requests the Enclosure be withheld from public disclosure.
There are no new regulatory commitments in this letter.
