HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION - CORRECTION OF AMENDMENT NO.156 RE: REVISION TO CONTROL ROOM EMERGENCY FILTRATION SYSTEM TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (TAC NO. MC1683)
Dear Mr. Bakken:
On October 28, 2004, the Commission issued Amendment No. 156 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-57 for the Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station. That amendment removed the technical specification (TS) operability requirements for the Control Room Emergency Filtration System during core alterations and the movement of sufficiently decayed irradiated fuel.
Subsequent to the issuance of Amendment No. 156, PSEG identified an error that had been inadvertently introduced into the text of TS 3.7.2.b.1 (TS page 3/4 7-6) that was issued with the amendment. Specifically, the limiting condition for operation (LCO) ACTION time for OPERATIONAL CONDITION *: was inadvertently changed from 7 days to 30 days. Revisions to the content of this LCO text were not included within the scope of this amendment, and the ACTION time should have remained at 7 days. Enclosed is a corrected page 3/4 7-6. Please replace the page that was issued with the amendment.
