Re: FW: Oil Lift Pump According to your procedure, you must run the lift pumps for at least 7 minutes. Your white paper stated they only are run for 5 minutes.... it appears operators have a 3 minute window ..... does this sound right?

Enclosed is information on the RCP thermal overload settings.

There was a question should the RCP starting procedures have a CAUTION statement regarding the lift pumps: Procedure 400P-9RC01 section 3.7 cautions that the lift pump must be run 7 minutes prior to starting the RCP and follow on sections for starting RCPs (4.3.18 for example) also contain a step for starting each pump.
