- PLANT PERFORMANCE UPDATE MEETING -

MCGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION - DOCKET NOS. 50-369, 50-370

Dear Mr. Peterson:

This refers to the meeting conducted at the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303, on July 20, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. (EST). The meetings purpose was to provide the NRC staff with an update of plant performance at the McGuire Nuclear Station. Enclosed are a list of attendees and the presentation handout.

The topics discussed during the meeting included a plant performance review, organization update, site initiatives, dose/contamination control, fire protection, and a security update. It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that it provided the NRC staff with an update of ongoing activities at the McGuire Nuclear Station.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
