Letter from P. E. Katz (CCNPP) to Document Control Desk (NRC), dated August 6, 2002, License Amendment Request: Revisions to the Refueling Operations Section of the Technical Specifications In Reference (a) we submitted two proposed changes to the Technical Specifications for Calvert Cliffs Units 1 and 2. We are withdrawing one of those proposed changes. Change 1 addressed adoption of TSTF-312 and used calculations performed for an interim Control Room habitability determination. We have determined that these calculations do not form a sufficient basis for the requested change.
Therefore, we are withdrawing Change 1 from further Nuclear Regulatory Commission review. This request to withdraw proposed Change I does not affect our need to have the review of Change 2 completed. Please proceed with your review of the remaining change.
