Same disease warrants same cure Hello Randy:

Last Thursday, I went to the NRC Public Document Room and read NRC Restart Action Plan Revision 6 for Salem. As indicated in the attached letter, there are eight (8) conditions at Salem/Hope Creek today that were on the Restart Action Plan.

Back then, the NRC did not allow PSEG to restart the Salem reactors until all eight problems were fixed. Perhaps you can see why Im having a little difficulty understanding why the NRC now feels the public is protected when the reactors operate with these very same problems present.

The NRC should protect the public now the same way it did then - by not allowing the reactors to operate until the problems are fixed.
