Indiana Michigan Power Company 500 Circle Drive Buchanan, MI 49107 1395 INDIANA MICHIGAN POWER May 14, 2004 AEP:NRC:2691-42 Docket Nos.

50-315 50-316 U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Mail Stop O-P1-17 Washington, DC 20555-0001 Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 MONTHLY OPERATING REPORT Pursuant to the requirements of Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 1 and Unit 2 Technical Specification 6.9.1.8, the attached Monthly Operating Report for April 2004 is submitted.

Additionally, the Unit 1 and Unit 2 NRC Operating Data Report and the Unit 1 and Unit 2 Average Daily Power Level for March 2004 are being resubmitted. These revisions reflect adjustments to gross and auxiliary generation due to the Unit 1 Watt-hour meter being removed from service on March 22, 2004, and the Unit 2 Watt-hour meter being removed from service on March 23, 2004, for calibration.

These adjustments were made prior to preparing the April 2004 NRC Monthly Operating Report.

There are no new commitments associated with this submittal.

Should you have any questions, please contact Mr. Toby K. Woods, Compliance Supervisor, at (269) 466-2798.

Sincerely, Jo A. Zwolinski Director of Design Engineering and Regulatory Affairs JEN/jen Attachment
