2003 Emergency Preparedness Exercise Objectives This letter provides the objectives for the Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2, 2003 Emergency Preparedness Exercise. The exercise is scheduled to be conducted on November 18, 2003. This exercise is a biennial full participation exercise that involves participation from offsite emergency response agencies. This information is being submitted 90 days prior to the scheduled exercise .date in accordance with an NRC letter to Exelon Generation Company (previously PECO Energy Company) dated August 9, 1989, regarding the submittal of "Emergency Exercise Objectives and Scenario Guidelines."

The Emergency Preparedness Exercise objective information attached to this letter is of a confidential nature and is not for public disclosure. The August 9,1989, letter identifies which individuals should receive copies of the exercise objective information. However, based on discussions with NRC Region I representatives concerning the submittal of exercise objective and scenario information, the objectives for the LGS 2003 Emergency Preparedness Exercise will only be distributed to those individuals involved in evaluating this exercise.
