Arrighi, Project Manager License Renewal Section A Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Room I 1E ll, Stop I IF1 One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, Maryland 20852-2738 Millstone, Units 2 and 3, Applications for Renewed Operating Licenses, Accession Number: ML040270166 REQUEST FOR PARTY STATUS AND DESIGNATION OF REPRESENTATIVE Pursuant to CFR 2.309 (d)(2)(ii) please consider the Town of Waterford a party to all the proceedings for the re-licensing of Units 2 & 3 at the Millstone Power Station which is located within the boundaries of the Town of Waterford.
At this time, the Town of Waterford is not requesting a hearing or petitioning to intervene as provided by CFR 2.309 (d)(2)(i) and has, for now, no prepared contention against the re-licensing application.
This will serve notice pursuant to CFR 2.309 (d)(2)(ii) and CFR 2.315 (c) of the Town of Waterford's intent to participate in any and all proceedings before the US Nuclear regulatory Commission on this re-licensing application. As First Selectman of the Town of Waterford, I will be the representative of the Town of Waterford.
Pursuant to CFR 2.315(b) please add the following points of contact for the Town of Waterford to the list of parties receiving notices. These individuals from time to time are designated to represent the Town of Waterford. They are in addition to myself:
