OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 - REVIEW OF END OF CYCLE 20 STEAM GENERATOR INSPECTION REPORT (TAC NO. MB6415)
Dear Mr. Jones:
By letters dated April 25, May 21, and July 11, 2002, you submitted reports summarizing the steam generator tube inspections for Oconee, Unit 1, that were performed in Spring 2002 during the end-of-cycle 20 refueling. In addition, your staff and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff participated in conference calls during the steam generator inspection activities. The summary of these conference calls was sent to you by letter dated October 29, 2002.
The NRC staff formally reviews all steam generator inspection summary reports that are submitted by licensees in accordance with the plants technical specification (TS) requirements.
The NRC staff has reviewed your steam generator inspection reports and has concluded that you have provided the required information outlined by the TSs and that there are no items that require follow up. It should be noted that the Oconee, Unit 1, steam generators were replaced in Fall 2003 during the end-of-cycle 21 refueling outage.
