CORRECTION TO AMENDMENTS ON THE CORE PROTECTION CALCULATOR SYSTEM UPGRADE (TAC NOS. MB6726, MB6727, AND MB6728)
Dear Mr. Overbeck:
The Commission issued Amendment No. 150 to Facility Operating Licenses Nos. NPF-41, NPF-51, and NPF-74 for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, respectively, in its letter dated October 24, 2003. The license amendments consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your application dated November 7, 2002 (102-04864), as supplemented by letters dated April 25 (102-04931), July 10 (102-04964), July 30 (102-04976), August 13 (102-04985), September 18 (102-04995), and October 1 (102-05006), 2003. The amendments revised TS 3.2.4, "Departure From Nucleate Boiling Ratio (DNBR)," TS 3.3.1, "Reactor Protective System (RPS) Instrumentation -
Operating," TS 3.3.3, "Control Element Assembly Calculators (CEACs)," and TS 5.4.1, "Administrative Controls - Procedures."
The letter provided an attachment page for the license amendments that listed the pages to be removed from, and the pages to be inserted in, the TSs. This page inadvertently listed a page 3.3.1-20 to be inserted in the TSs. There is no such page to be inserted in the TSs. A corrected attachment page, with the reference to page 3.3.1-20 deleted, is enclosed.
